Welcome to Market Square Music Academy!
We currently offer private music lessons in the areas of piano, voice, guitar, ukulele and violin.
Each of our faculty members hold a degree in music, years of teaching experience and extensive performance experience in a variety of musical genres. Our studio teaching philosophy integrates classical curriculum with artistry and personal development to help create well-rounded students who can engage in many different musical styles. All lessons are structured to include technique, repertoire pieces, music theory, and ear training so each student builds the foundation to become a strong musician, problem solver, and confident performer.
Located in Newington's Town Center, the studio conveniently offers a central CT location with fully-equipped studio spaces, acoustic pianos, educational materials, plenty of parking, and close proximity to the local restaurants and shopping in Market Square.
Students who are enrolled in weekly lessons are invited to participate in our semi-annual recitals to work towards clear goals, build confidence in their performance skills and share their talent with our studio community.
Recitals opportunities are offered twice a year for all enrolled students who have been taking lessons for at least three months. These performances give students the chance to work on their pieces to performance-level, gain confidence in their presentation skills and share their talent with family, friends and our studio community.
